Located along Sukhumvit Road in downtown Bangkok, surrounded by the city’s most vibrant shopping, business and entertainment districts, the iconic Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park boasts 1,360 rooms and suites. Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park is the first hotel to receive the Marquis designation in Asia Pacific. The Marquis designation is defined by various elements including the meetings and food and beverage prowess both in scale and in quality. The Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park meets all the requirements and more. It offers a perfect location in the heart of Bangkok’s vibrant Sukhumvit district with 1,360 deluxe rooms and suites, and 6,411m2 of state-of-the-art function space. An event planners’ ideal venue for social or corporate functions, the hotel features 35 different spaces including three large ballrooms that can host between 300 to 1,300 people.

I stayed in an M Suites which generously span offer 72 square-meters of space, including separate bedroom and living areas and large floor-to-ceiling windows. The beautiful sky scape of Bangkok adorns this very comfortable suite. A selection of M Club rooms and suites allow guests to access the brand’s M Club Lounge. A visit to Bangkok is not completed without Thai Massage, and staying at The Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park a visit to the luxurious Quan Spa is a must. Upon entering Quan Spa, there was this sense of calmness and serenity, it is a place to pampering the body, mind and soul and Quan Spa offers a delicate balance of refreshment for all three. There are wide range of treatments to be enjoyed in one of the 10 treatment rooms. Being in Thailand, I chose a traditional Thai massage.

I have to say that the highlight of this trip was definitely the food. Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park offers a strikingly diverse selection of exciting dining venues. It offers a choice of restaurants and bars for every palate. I know that Thailand is famous as a culinary destination, but staying at the hotel, you do not need to step out of the hotel to enjoy wide range of international delicacies.

Exciting, inviting and inventive, Goji Kitchen + Bar is the impressive new all-day dining restaurant at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park. This is an international restaurant in its truest sense, serving up an extensive selection of authentic cuisines from across Asia, alongside popular Western dishes, with a series of sumptuous buffets and dramatic live cooking stations. Siam Tea Room treats guests to memorable Thai dining experiences. The special “Grandma’s Recipe” – dishes which are prepared using methods passed down from generation-to-generation through the chef’s family. Soba Factory recreates a classical “izakaya” with its casual vibe, authentic ingredients and traditional recipes.Served hot or cold, guests can enjoy these authentic soba noodles in an array of styles, accompanied by soups and various meats. Pagoda serves authentic Cantonese cuisine with premium ingredients. Pagoda also serves many other delicious delicacies, including delectable dim sum, sumptuous steamed dumplings, perfect prawn spring rolls and pork buns, and sticky barbecued pork, all prepared in a classical yet contemporary Cantonese style.

I had a very relaxing and memorable time staying at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, as I said before the hotel is not just a place to spend the night but it truly is a destination of its own. There is nothing ordinary about this hotel, from the size of the hotel, the comfort of the room, the mouth-watering dishes, the relaxing spa, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park is extraordinary.
