Fontana Hotel Bali, a PHM Collection, offers an ‘out of your comfort zone’ hospitality services, a hospitality Fontana way.

Built in an area of 46 acres, Fontana Hotel Bali, a PHM Collection accommodates 136 guestrooms including 68 Superior Rooms, 56 Deluxe Pool View, 6 Family Rooms, and 6 Fontana Suites, as well as a Portabella Bistro, Sunny16 café that open 24/7, and a Suma Spa. All rooms include a free minibar.

Fontana Hotel Bali, a PHM Collection is designed to be timeless, environmental friendly, minimalizing the usage of air conditioner. It was designed by the environmentalist architect, Popo Danes, and Desain9 creative director, Nobuyuki Narabayashi, using many different recycled items founded from Italy, Vietnam, and Java, the wooden panels in all the restaurant and bar are from an abandoned house in Blora and Semarang. The rooms feature a number of creative artworks designed by Ananta Sutopo.

When approaching the lobby area, you will see a wooden dominated panel with “PORTABELLA BISTRO” sign welcoming you, once passing it, a whole lot more of ornaments will greet you, each of them tells an interesting story of how they were found. Portabella Bistro is not only a place to dine for, but to generates human senses, people will get what they’re eating just by seeing, smelling, tasting, hearing, and touching.

On the other corner of the hotel, it’s the Sunny16 café, which name was taken from the 16 aperture blades of a camera lens, which starts the era of manual photography, being independent without a light-meter reader. The concept of the café is a studio/workplace for creative who need to spend a day working. The coffee served in the café is a custom blend for Fontana Hotel Bali, a PHM Collection with 100% Arabica blend. Two apple computers are available to use for free.

The artworks and furniture displayed in Portabella Bistro and Sunny16 café come directly from recycled items from many different places such as Indonesia, Italy, and Vietnam.

On the very top floor of the hotel is Suma Spa. At Suma Spa, guests will indulge inthe ultimate Zen healing experience. Suma Spa has a strong concept that drives its guests into the Balinese Zen, “nyepi”, the art of emptiness. It aims to let the guests experience that silence is golden, that the silence of Bali will create an alpha state that allows energy transfer in the treatment process.

It offers various body and mind treatments including massage, body scrub, and hair treatment. Suma Spa has private elevator that take guests to the spa on the top floor. It comprises of 10 exclusive and unique treatment rooms that can serve up to 15 guests at a time, completed with indoor shower, bathtub, shampoo chair, and also separate manicure-pedicure facility at the salon area.

The Fontana Hotel Bali, a PHM Collection strives to be coolest place to stay in dusty Kuta. The image of the lady underwater is the metaphor of the hotel’s aim to be available for cool people who want to stay in Kuta, without inhaling tons of dust and fighting the crowd. The lady is seen by herself doing multiple things in a cool way representing that once you are checked in, you can pamper yourself here without having to worry about the outside world, which also represented by the entrance design of the hotel as the median.
