Le Meridien Jakarta

Located in the heart of Jakarta’s central business and financial district, Le Meridien Jakarta is the leading choice for travellers in town for business or leisure.

Le Meridien Jakarta has proudly stood in the heart of the city’s prime commercial district for many years and the property is still the preferred destination for those in town for business or pleasure. The timeless, intimate charm and luxury of an international 5-star hotel in a traditional Javanese setting makes Le Meridien stand out from every other property in the city.

Newly Renovated Rooms
There are a total of 396 rooms and suites at Le Meridien Jakarta, including the fresh-faced Premier rooms, a new room category at the hotel. There are also Superior and Deluxe rooms, Junior, Executive and Diplomatic suites, Presidential suites and the remarkable Rumah Kudus penthouse. Natural light greeted me as I entered the Premier room, with the floor-to-ceiling window overlooking vibrant Jalan Sudirman, making the room feel more spacious. The newly renovated room features a chic and stylish modern interior, with traditional touches. There is a work desk and ergonomic chair, a stylish lazy chair and small table with a bowl of welcome fruit, announcing that this room was designed to cater to all of your need, whether for work or relaxation.

Mouthwatering Cuisine
Le Meridien Jakarta offers an intriguing choice of dining venues, including an international buffet, Japanese restaurant and authentic Lebanese cuisine. La Brasserie, where breakfast is served, is an all-day dining restaurant offering a sumptuous international buffet in a stylish environment. Le Rendezvous Lobby Lounge is truly a centre of attention, with Indonesian architecture overlooking a natural garden setting; this is a favourite choice for guests to sip a refreshing cocktail or a cup of coffee. A traditional Japanese restaurant, Ryoutei Aoi Japanese, offers set course and à la carte menus expertly prepared by the experienced chefs, with eight private tatami rooms available. The famous mille-feuille cake is one of many reasons I love Le Meridien Jakarta and it is available at La Boutique Gourmande, a chic cake shop that offers freshly baked breads and mouthwatering cakes. Another dining highlight is Al Nafoura, an award-winning restaurant offering authentic Lebanese cuisine served up in a setting that will transport you to the country. I enjoyed the freshly grilled seafood and meat at Al Nafoura outdoor terrace.

Things to Do
All the facilities at the 5-star Le Meridien Jakarta are thoughtfully designed for your comfort. There is much to do and experience, from dining at more than five F&B outlets, swimming pool, 24-hour gym and health club, sauna, complimentary high-speed internet access, to the newly renovated Sasono Mulyo Ballroom with a spacious pre-function foyer to host all your memorable occasions. As for me, I chose the one-hour traditional massage at Le Spa. All the treatments are performed in private rooms; one of the treatment rooms features a large Jacuzzi-like bathtub for hydrotherapy sessions. The skilful hands of the therapist and wonderful smell of lavender massage aromatherapy oil eased my sore muscle and relaxed my mind. This short escape to Le Meridien Jakarta truly recharged my spirit to face another busy week ahead. I left Le Meridien Jakarta with a big smile and good memories.
