Situated on Legian’s legendary sunset beach, Padma Resort Bali at Legian is spaciously set within a romantic garden landscape providing you with a village-style hideaway, comfortable accommodation and Balinese hospitality.
In Eastern philosophy, “Padma” (lotus) represents the essence of the mind and imagination, the power of creativity granted solely to man to be used with the utmost care for the benefit of ourselves and the world we live in. This very same inspiration lies at the heart of the Padma Resort Legian.
With a stunning view of 104 metres of crystal-clear waters in the tropical lagoon-style swimming pool from our own private terrace, our lagoon access room takes contemporary Balinese design to a new level of existence with tasteful décor that explores the island’s creative heritage. Light-coloured flooring together with Balinese inspired design elements add to the luxury of this restful environment. The en-suite bathroom with its egg-shaped tub and separate shower recess is the ultimate in personal indulgence. It’s very hard to resist the temptation to jump into the pool when it is just a step away from our terrace.
The rest and relax does not stop in the room; when it comes to leisure, Padma Resort Legian has an innovative range of entertaining events that combine Bali’s rich culture with world-class cuisine. The garden settings, restaurants and open-air theatre offer a choice of venues for creative, themed events. For those who are energetic or want to burn calories after delighting in all the delicious food that Bali has to offer, there is a range of activities from volleyball to soccer games on the beach, while tennis courts and a gymnasium are also available. As for us, we just liked to spend our time around the seemingly infinite pool, soaking up the Bali sun, and in the evening, I loved gazing at the star-studded sky. Living in a big city, it is not often that I get a chance to simply look up and admire the twinkling stars.
You can never go hungry at Hotel Padma Bali. Start your day with a sumptuous international buffet breakfast at Donbiu Restaurant. Surrounded by fish ponds, Donbiu serves casual meals representing the world’s five continents, throughout the day. To witness the last ray of tropical sunlight disappear over the horizon with refreshing beverages and a selection of finger food, Sunset Bar is an idyllic spot. Evening dining options include authentic Japanese cuisine at Tenkai as well as outdoor traditional performances with themed dinners such as the Tropical BBQ Buffet Dinner and Indonesian Night Market set up in the lush tropical garden with an ocean backdrop, or the private BBQ area, poolside. Pre-dinner drinks, cocktails, and nightcaps can be enjoyed at the Barong Pool Bar and Café or Lobby Lounge.
Padma Resort Legian provides a tranquil hideaway with Balinese hospitality, yet is still within walking distance of the local bars, shops and restaurants. Hotel Padma Bali is your home away from home.
