Padma Resort Ubud

Padma Resort Ubud combines the green of the woods and mountains, five-star service and a beautiful design and layout, creating an unforgettable experience for body and mind.

Nestled in the north of Bali’s celebrated cultural centre Ubud, Padma Resort Ubud offers a tranquil and peaceful stay. The resort is surrounded by lush bamboo forest and untouched river valleys, with the mountains in the distance, and the air is comfortably cool in the morning and night. Padma Resort Ubud has 149 rooms and suites with generous bedrooms and living areas, providing maximum comfort and flexibility to accommodate a wide variety of travellers ranging from honeymooners to large families. My room was located on the second floor, with a private balcony overlooking the panoramic river valley, artisan-crafted furnishings, hand-carved wood detailing, state-of-the-art media and spa-inspired en-suite bathrooms.

Breakfast is served at Puhu Restaurant & Lounge, with a choice of set menus, including American breakfast, Japanese breakfast, Indonesian breakfast and Healthy breakfast. The restaurant is located on the top floor overlooking the resort’s expansive infinity swimming pool and gardens, and boasting an impressive 180-degree views across the bamboo forest and out to the terraced rice paddies beyond. This spacious al fresco restaurant offers a selection of tantalizing dishes including Indonesian, Asian and European specialties.

Padma Resort Ubud offers an extraordinary jogging experience, the 3.4 kilometres jogging track designed to meander through the resort’s lush tropical gardens and along the crystal-clear waters of the mystical river that flows beneath the resort. This is a perfect pre-breakfast activity at sunrise and ideal for a leisurely walk after lunch. A fully appointed Fitness Centre is available to help you stay on target with your personal fitness regime.

Connected to the resort via an enchanting glass-top tunnel, the infinity swimming pool at Padma Resort Ubud offers breathtaking views and the refreshing mountain air of Ubud. The pool measures a remarkable 89 metres long and 7 metres wide, and the water is cool during the day to provide an invigorating oasis on warm afternoons, and is heated when the temperature drops to allow for comfortable morning and evening swims. Pisces will love this. This is also a perfect place to soak up the sun, the stylish pool deck appointed with comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas providing countless hours of relaxation. This family-friendly resort also has an engaged Kid’s Club offering dynamic activities, engaging toys, separate rooms for watching movies and gaming, and a whimsically designed bunk bed room for naps. An inviting Children’s Swimming Pool is designated exclusively for families.
