The Dharmawangsa Jakarta is a peaceful oasis of serenity, luxury and timeless architectural design where visitors can forget the worries and cares of modern life and enjoy the relaxing, peaceful atmosphere.
Nestled in the upscale leafy area of Kebayoran Baru in South Jakarta, The Dharmawangsa Jakarta is the epitome of classic Javanese style, where a blend of subtle sophistication and elegant intimacy define the art of gracious living. At this luxurious property, guests are received as honoured visitors to a spacious and private residence.
The Dharmawangsa Jakarta’s design and layout maintains and emphasizes the residential feel of the property, in terms of facilities, style and atmosphere, in line with how Indonesians live and work today and in keeping with the quality of life, comfort and expectations of modern Indonesians. The public areas are arranged based on centuries-old Indonesian traditions, beginning with a front veranda, then a central room and eventuating in a back veranda. At The Dharmawangsa, the front veranda is expressed by the front lobby, which is open along the front side. The centre room is represented by Majapahit Hall, around which guests will find areas to entertain and be entertained: a library, sitting rooms and areas where one can eat and drink; the same kind of arrangement around a central room in traditional Indonesian houses. The back veranda is represented by the swimming pool, an area where guests can enjoy large open spaces and the rich variety of lush green vegetation, just as one would expect sitting and looking out from an old-style back veranda in a traditional Indonesian veranda.
The 64 rooms and 35 suites at The Dharmawangsa are elegantly and luxuriously designed. Each guestroom and suite follows one of five thematic schemes, using traditional fabrics from Java, Pesisiran, North Java, Bali, South Sumatra and East Indonesia. The hotel’s room classifications include Executive Room, Senior Executive Room, Dharmawangsa Suite, Townhouse One-Bedroom Suite, Deluxe Suite, Townhouse Two-Bedroom Suite, Penthouse Suite and Presidential Suite. All rooms included private terraces, spacious bedrooms, large marble bathrooms with two vanity basins, executive desks, three telephones with two lines, in-room internet access and more.
