Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival by offering guests exclusive Shangri-La Mooncake gift sets. Carefully presented in luxurious packages, the moon cakes are available during the Mooncake Festival from 1 August to 30 September 2012. Under the direction of Chinese Executive Chef Benson Fok, Shang Palace prepares a selection of eight original moon cakes and three mini moon cakes.
The traditional flavours of Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta’s moon cakes are Red Bean Paste, White Lotus with Single Yolk, White Lotus with Double Yolk, Red Lotus with Single Yolk, Red Lotus with Double Yolk, White Lotus Paste, Red Lotus Paste and Pandan Paste. The hotel’s mini moon cakes feature Snow Skin Durian, Egg Custard and Healthy Five Grain.
Presented in two types of mooncake packages – the Traditional Four Pieces Package and the Mini Six Pieces Bar Box Package – Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta’s mooncakes are available starting from Rp 308,000 nett per package.
The mooncakes are on display and available for purchase at a dedicated booth in front of SATOO restaurant, at Shang Palace restaurant and at SATOO Deli Shop. Guests can enjoy a 20 per cent early bird discount when ordering from 1 to 15 August 2012.
