Alila Purnama, one of the most luxurious Phinisi ships in Asia, is putting fresh wind in her sails with the launch of two new exciting sailing adventures.
Maumere – Ambon Expedition Launching on 26 September – 6 October 2016
The first ten-day expedition launching in September will depart from Maumere, on the eastern coast of Flores Island, and set sail to the fertile and mountainous island of Ambon. Cloaked in tropical rainforest, Ambon Island is part of a chain of volcanic islands on the northern side of the world-famous Banda Islands. Renowned historically for their strategic role in the spice trade, the Banda Islands are also well known today for their breath-taking landscape, incredible marine life and astonishing coral reefs. The Maumere-Ambon Expedition starts from US$12,085 per person based on two sharing a suite.
Ambon – Raja Ampat Expedition Launching on 9 October – 16 October 2016
The island of Ambon will be the starting point for the second seven-night voyage departing in October. Guests will journey through a remote land of almost unimaginable beauty, spotting dolphins and pilot whales at Nusa Laut, diving in waters around Misool, one of the ‘Four Kings’ of Raja Ampat and can take a dip in the Dampier Strait where fish school in their hundreds. The Ambon – Raja Ampat Expedition starts from US$8,460 per person based on two sharing a suite.
