Paulaner Bräuhaus Jakarta Celebrates Maifest

paulaner

Spring is coming and Paulaner Bräuhaus, one of Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta’s most happening outlets will celebrate a traditional German festival to welcome the month of May – Maifest on Saturday, April 30, 2011, starting from around Dinnertime until way after midnight. As the main event, people will gather round and be dancing around the maypole – a uniquely decorated 6 metre high pole erected at Paulaner garden. Throughout this celebration, Paulaner Bräuhaus will have special buffet served for the first time during D-day only. In Germany, celebrating this new season is combined with various popular ceremonies and traditions as for example “Tanz in den Mai” (Dance into May), “Viehaustrieb”  (the day when the cattle are driven out to pasture) and “Maibaum Aufstellen”  (to put up the Maypole).
