Sulawesi, the eleventh largest island in the world & fourth in Indonesia, not only offers a variety of tourist destinations with the beauty of nature and the sea, but also has a variety of unique culinary treats. Sulawesi Food is renowned for its fresh dishes and generous use of spice like nutmeg, chili peppers and lime leaves.
For this special occasion, Le Méridien Jakarta has flown in a Guest Chef, Grace Natalia Titaheluw, (Chef de Cuisine) from Four Points by Sheraton Makassar, South Sulawesi. Cita Rasa Sulawesi presents a variety of mouthwatering original local cuisine like Daging Konro Makassar (Makassar-style rib soup), Ayam Tinoransak (Manado spicy braised chicken), Mie Cakalang (skipjack tuna noodle soup from Manado), Sup Kaledo, (cow’s trotters soup served in spicy broth from Donggala), Kambing Bakar Sambal Colo Colo (grilled lamb with basil and tomato sauce) and Seafood BBQ.
