The Westin Jakarta is delighted to announce a series of culinary promotions taking part at its signature all-day dining restaurant, Seasonal Tastes. The first among a series of four is a partnership with Chef Ragil Imam Wibowo of NUSA Indonesian Gastronomy. Chef Ragil will be joined by The Westin Jakarta’s own Executive Sous Chef, Chef Denny Boy Gunawan in creating a special range of modern Indonesian menu that will be served exclusively at Seasonal Tastes, and on a special one-night only “Terang Bulan Gastronomy” dinner at Wayra rooftop on level 67.
In a unique partnership like no other, Chef Ragil will be bringing his creativity and understanding of current dining trends using Indonesian indigenous ingredients from Sabang – Merauke, celebrating the rich flavors of spices of modern Indonesian dishes. Some of the dishes highlighted will be Udang Kuah Kuning, Beef Carving Bumbu Rembige, Ayam Tangkap Aceh, Gelato Tempe Orek, Bubur Sumsum Brulee and many more which also highlight Chef Denny’s specialty of Progressive Sundanese Cuisine with a focus on modern cooking techniques.
“Jelajah Indonesia” starts from 20 to 29 July 2018 at Seasonal Tastes, with weekday lunch priced at IDR 388,000++, weekday dinner priced at IDR 408,000++, and weekend lunch and dinner priced at IDR 438,000++ inclusive of soft drinks, beer, and flavored ice teas.
A special dinner set menu, “Terang Bulan Gastronomy”, will take place on 28 July 2018 at Wayra rooftop level 67 and features 5 course “Terang Bulan Gastronomy” is a one-night dinner under the full moon at IDR 898.000++ per person with limited seating.
The upcoming promotions that is part of Jelajah Indonesia series: Ayo Makan in August, Street Food Master in September, Local Artisan in November.
