Warung Tani Old-Style Balinese Kitchen
Set amidst the natural beauty of a rural landscape, Warung Tani recreates the charm of a traditional Balinese food stall. It serves a tasty menu of healthy salads, organic vegetable dishes and other light bites prepared from fresh ingredients grown and cooked with integrity. There are also classics snacks such as boiled bananas, peanuts and crackers. All dishes ordered from Warung Tani are prepared in a paon, an old-style Balinese kitchen with a wood-fire stove featuring classic clay pots that are used to steam rice and other ingredients. Open daily from 10am to 6pm.
Megibung Dining Experience
Megibung is a traditional Balinese dining experience that involves sharing food from a communal plate after completing religious or social obligations. This custom of everyone eating together promotes community spirit. At Desa Visesa, a Megibung dinner is the perfect conclusion to a day of Balinese cultural activities to restore your energy levels. Enjoy a generous portion of red rice infused with sweet potato accompanied by an assortment of dishes cooked using home-grown herbs and spices from our garden. It is accompanied by a glass of red or white wine priced at just IDR 450,000 net per person (minimum 2 people). This unique culinary adventure is available only at Warung Di Sawah.
