Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali will host a ‘Ten Strings’ Charity Concert on 9 May 2017 in support of the ‘Yayasan Peduli Autisme Bali’, a local non-governmental organisation which welcomes parents who would like to share and consult about the day to day care of children with autism. The foundation also established ‘Rumah Belajar Autis Sarwahita’ where parents can enrol their children with autism to receive regular therapy as well as non-formal education.
In partnership with the Embassy of the Czech Republic, the concert will showcase classical music performances from two respected Czech musicians, Jaroslav Svěcený (violinist) and Miloslav Klaus (guitarist). Concert tickets are IDR 300,000/person and include a 30-minute cocktail session prior to the 90-minute concert. A portion of proceeds from this charity concert will go to ‘Yayasan Peduli Autisme Bali’ to help the funding of the new building for ‘Rumah Belajar Autis Sarwahita’.
‘Yayasan Peduli Autisme Bali’ was initiated by several parents of children with autism along with teachers who were concerned on the shortfall of facilities in Bali that provide information regarding autism.
