Café Gran Via, the hotel’s international buffet restaurant, is bringing delightful sophisticated Indonesian dishes with extensive Indonesian culinary creations that will take guests on a sumptuous spice journey through the Ramadan iftar feast. With the theme of ‘Soegoehan Ramadan,’ every day for dinner during the Ramadan month, guests can enjoy a tantalizing “break the fast” buffet experience with options of Indonesia provinces’ signature dishes from Central and West Java, Padang and also Betawi delicacies.
The all-time-favourite rice specialties will feature nasi begana, nasi ulam betawi, nasi kapau and nasi bali complete with condiments, not to mention the appetising classic chicken, beef and fish selections including opor ayam, ayam bakar padang, ayam kalasan, ayam goreng lengkuas, daging bumbu bali, kalio daging, ikan garang asam, gulai kepala ikan and many more. The restaurant will also serve additional enticing seafood and barbeque delights including kambing guling, ikan bakar dabu-dabu, pepes ikan, herb roasted beef, fish en pappilotte, salmon en croute as well as lamb legs coffee rub. The ‘nusantara’ classics will present traditional Indonesian cart or gerobak with a variety of dishes featuring bakso Malang, soto mie Jakarta, tekwan Palembang, bakso Wonogiri, kerak telor, es doger and kue ape. The selections of dishes of Soegoehan Ramadan are available for guests to savour during break fasting in the Holy Month of Ramadan from 5 May to 4 June 2019 at IDR 428,000++ per person.
In addition, selections of high quality tea, coffee or bandrek susu will be available for guests to savour during break fasting. Lobby Lounge will have exclusive Ramadan tea sets of ‘Soegoehan Ramadan Sweet Takjil’ at IDR 120,000++ per person, complete with sweet and savoury finger food; great for those looking for an elegant ambiance and light bites prior to a heavy and fulfilling meal.
