The renowned King Tarabagani or often known as Red King Crab or ‘Hokkaido King Crab’ comes from the frigid waters off Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost major island with waters that yield high-end, exceptional seafood. Its legs can grow more than a meter long, and is the largest of the king crabs. Essentially, the crabs in its all forms are enjoyed in many traditional Japanese dishes.
