One of the main highlight is the “Christmas on A Great Street” celebration organized by the Orchard Road Business Association with its impressive Christmas street light up and decorations, stretching 2.88km long from Tanglin Mall to Plaza Singapura. A new “Endless Wonder Christmas Village” at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza adds to the festive experience on Orchard Road.

Families travelling with their children can look forward to “A Universal Christmas” themed experience at the Universal Studios Singapore with its slew of new shows including “World of Stars” state-of-the-art projection mapping, musical featuring Sesame Street characters, “Santa’s Workshop” and marching band with a burst of snowfall.

The spectacular “Christmas Wonderland” by Gardens by the Bay returns with bigger, brighter and more magical experiences. Visitors can catch fun-filled family- friendly attractions like skate under the stars, discover the joy of Christmas with Asia’s biggest Santa’s Grotto, be wowed by the Asian debut of the highly acclaimed Circus Abyssinia from Ethiopia, savour a tantalising festive spread by award- winning restaurants and be awed by Southeast Asia’s tallest Italian luminarie light sculpture.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with the countdown at the Marina Bay area which promises a night of musical performances and spectacular fireworksy.

Come January 2018, visitors can look forward to another month of packed events which include Singapore Art Week, ARTWALK Little India, “M1 Singapore Fringe Festival” (performing arts festival), “The Invincible 2” Jay Chou concert, KidsFest, Safari Zoo Run at Singapore Zoo, St Jeromes Laneway Festival and Chinatown Chinese New Year Light Up.
