Some of us feel the journey will be complete if we have our family as our companion.
There’s always a way to make your holiday memorable together with your family. Here are some of the best places my family and I have found very family friendly and fun:
It does not matter how old you are, a visit to Japan will mesmerise you because it is a land that promises to satisfy you at every turn. Every city in Japan is a beautiful destination, but my family and I feel Tokyo is the most Family Friendly destination. Tokyo isn’t just a modern capital city, it is recognised as the main tourist attraction in Japan, with a lot of attractions suitable for all ages. Let’s start with Disney Theme Park. Who doesn’t like the magical experience Disney offers? Disney Tokyo has two. DisneySea and Disneyland. DisneySea Tokyo is the only Disney theme park in the world that is inspired by oceans tales and legends. After a day at the theme park, you might want to visit the Museums. They are a great way to gain some knowledge about the country and city. There are many museums in Tokyo; there is historical, cultural, movies, themed and animated museums. Also spending time in the city parks with family is quite fun, especially if you visit during the cherry blossom season.

2. Gold Coast
Gold Coast is a home to theme parks like Dreamworld and Warner Bros. Movie world, which are the most popular and the favourite theme parks: Sea World and Wet’n’Wild. The Warner Bros. Movie World is designed for movie lovers. It is magical, and you will find a lot of your favourite movies turned into a ride and attraction, like Superman Escape which was my favourite. The rollercoaster takes you from zero to 100 km/h in only two seconds. Dreamworld is also as good; it is not only packed with fantastic rides but has a mini zoo inside the park. The Gold Coast is also famous for its zoo’s, sanctuaries, aquariums and wildlife parks. There you can have fun while learning about nature and animals. Start your journey at Sea World where you will discover the underworld, experience many unforgettable moments and shows by intriguing animals like in the dolphin show. Then visit the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. We had a wonderful day there, saw and experienced a lot of things unique to Australia such as cuddling a Koala, feeding Kangaroos, Free-flight bird show and witnessed the Aborigins perform ‘Didgeridoo’ and a dance show.

3. New Zealand
Perhaps we knew New Zealand as a beautiful country that is popular with the famous and highest bungee jumping. But since the trilogy of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit grabbed attention in world cinema industry, the name of New Zealand transcended, because many movies are now set and filmed there in New Zealand. Not just flawless beauty, New Zealand absolutely became as one of favourite family friendly destinations. The country is best known for stunning untouched natural landscapes. The mountains, forests, and coastlines are all surprisingly accessible. You’ll find that there are countless options for exploring on foot, even with little ones. Make sure not to leave the country before experiencing the real Middle-earth by visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set. Your guided tour here starts with a drive through the picturesque 1,250-acre sheep farm with spectacular views across to the Kaimai Ranges. Take a look at Bag End, where Frodo and Bilbo’s adventures began. Get lost among the hobbit holes and visit the Green Dragon Inn, the Mill, and the Party Tree. Listen to spell-binding tales of how Hobbiton came to be.
